I watched Desperado and Once Upon A Time in Mexico before I watched this film which I shouldn't have done. It's very different to those films obviously because of the low budget but still runs in the same vein being the original and all.
It has a good storyline and I like that it's in Spanish but it's not an amazing film, there wasn't as much violence as I thought there would be but I guess thats understandable. Good first effort from Robert Rodriguez though by all means and he is my favourite director =) It is worth the watch but you'd probably find it better watching this film first before you see Desperado or Once Upon A Time in Mexico.
