This is film is more about how it was made. Rodriguez sold his body to medical testing to earn the money to make it. And it really feels like Rodriguez put his heart and soul into it. Its a beatifully simple storyline with a lot of fun action sequences.
Rodriguez has an instinctive feel for dialogue and story. But it is above all, a very pure film, bound by its limitations and filled with Rodrigez's incredible sense of joy of filmmaking. I feel truly happy watching it.
