El Mariachi is the work of a born filmaker. The movie has energy and style you could forgive the staleness of the plot.
A mariachi walks into a small town and gets confused with a druglord and has to fight for his life. A budget of 8,000 dollors and just two cameras. Also to make money Robert Rodriguez volunteer his body for medical research. Now thats devotion.
A film to enjoy because of it's craft.
