Review of El Mariachi (1993) by Ian R — 24 Jul 2010
For a low budget movie featuring pretty much unknown actors, this movie is surprisingly good. It has a nice, simple story that just really catches on. I found it quite enjoyable to watch and can see how it formed a good basis for the rest of Rodriguez's Mariachi movies.
This movie actually kind of reminds me a little of the first Mad Max...except in Mexico.
