Review of El Mariachi (1993) by Wagner N — 22 Sep 2011
I don't remember watching a movie with so low budget with so surprising improvisation. All special effects are extremely cheap but they work well enough. This is the quintessential independent movie from a director with good ideas but no money! If it was only the quality of production, I'd give it 3 stars but it has good story and pace enough to make up for that and the amateurish acting.
