Just saw this film, and it was difficult to follow. Maybe that's the effect it was going for. What it did showcase was the evolution of salsa, and the music was fantastic. I think they should've featured more of Victor Manuelle as Blades, though Marc Anthony's stage presence is more magnetic.
While I love Jennifer Lopez as an actress, ultimately it was hard to see beyond her persona as "J. Lo" and believe her as Puchi.
