Review of El Cantante (2006) by Alex N — 26 May 2008
A pretty good portrayal of Hector Lavoe (since Marc Anthony looks like a drug addict, anyway). The acting was good and the couple had great chemistry, as should be expected. The writer and director succeeded in capturing the energy and history of the salsa movement.
I'm sure this movie was close to the reality, and Jennifer Lopez did a great job as Puchi, and as a producer.
