Review of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019) by Kirkender — 18 Oct 2019
Wonderful. Its entertaining, fast paced and significant. Aaron Paul does great work getting back into character, and there's plenty to explore. The story is right out of the Breaking Bad universe, and is a fitting epilogue to the series.
The only thing that broke my immersion is the fact the characters look older and thicker - Don't get me wrong, it's much preferred over the b/s de-aging that's happening lately. El Camino smartly jumps back and forth in time in order to get in all the required appearances from all the characters, and gives Jesse Pinkman a little glimpse of hope at recovery.
