"Daayan (witch) ka asli roop khoobsurat aur darawna hota hai" - It is the most iconic dialogue of this movie that floats the Dayaan's boat. I am not sure exactly what reasons people will have for seeing this movie; surely enjoyment won't be the one, because what we get here aren't the delicious chills of a Daayan.
Ek thi Daayan is an unusual script, because it doesn't contain the spiritual powers, tantric's jantar mantar etc. Daayan is full of suspense. Konkona Sen as a Daayan has great coquetry behaviour, and her style in every scene shows her sincerity & dedication.
No bollywood movie is complete without music. Though Daayan doesn't require the musical ingredient but it has few good songs espcially "tote ud gaye".
Do yourself a favour; don't watch Daayan if you have a weak heart.
