Finally, a Bollywood film that is truly realistic and entertaining. There was no melodrama, nor gimmicks; just excellent direction along with a well written screenplay. The action sequences were choreographed with bad-ass perfection.

Aseem Mishra's cinematography was pin sharp, complementing the exotic and vivid scenery with rustic sepia. Salman Khan was outstanding and was actually believable (unlike his previous characters as seen with "Ready" and "Bodyguard", where he seems totally disinterested).

Katrina Kaif was exceptionally good and has proved to have some potential as an actress. The songs were also great. Definitely one of the best films of this year.
