Review of Ek Tha Tiger (2012) by Niraj V — 15 Aug 2012
Able direction. Shoestring story. Mixed-bag script devoid of much logic. Sallu throwing around his charisma. Kats showing some expressions here and there but generally is hammy as always, despite looking like a million bucks, as always.
Fantastic supporting turns by Girish Karnad and Ranvir Shorey. Exotic locales, as always in a yrf film. First Indian film shot in Cuba, I guess. Bourne-ish action, mostly well executed, though stunt doubles aren't that difficult to spot.
Decent music. Audience going mad at the drop of a hat. Yeah, I guess that sums it up.
