Review of Eighth Grade (2018) by Kevin P — 07 Oct 2018
One of the more realistic portrayals of a teenager you will see in movies these days, with a incredible breakthough performance by Elsie Fisher, who here shows real depth in the period in which every child goes through in their own way.
While feeling the real-life cringe worthy scenes could divide audiences in their viewing experience, it has to commended for its daring way to make Eighth Grade feel like a standard coming-of-age Hollywood production.
