8th grade was one of the toughest years for me socially and personally. Now that I teach 8th grade I am constantly striving to understand these teenagers that walk into my classroom every day. This movie not only shows the reality, painful and difficult reality, of being a teenager in 2018.
The social media expectations carry into the social expectations. It not only reminded me of my younger self, and all the growing I have done since then, but it also made me humanize and relate to my students.
