Review of Eight Men Out (1988) by Joseph E — 02 Sep 2010
Review #324 Drama, Sports-Biopic, True Story.
This is most undoubtedly the best baseball film ever made. Why is that, I am sure you want to know? If you don't know already I'll tell you why.
"Eight men Out is correctly written, well directed, and Shoeless Joe Jackson is played is sensationaly portrayed by D.B. Sweeney.".
I'm sure If you love and know alot about baseball you are going to love this film. if you don't know alot, but like baseball, you might like it. if you hate baseball, you are going to hate this film I'm sure. That isn't always true though.
Trust me, this film is not for everyone. I can assure you that. 'Slap Shot' is a Comedy for Hockey Players. 'The Logest Yard' is for Football Fanatics. 'Hoosiers' for Basketball. Baseball fans have 'Eight men Out', or well the suprising family alternative "Field of Dreams".
