Review of Eight Legged Freaks (2002) by Katie W — 21 Sep 2009
When this movie was released I was a whole 13 years old. And boy, did I ever want to see it! I remember getting odd glances from my family in asking if they'd go to the theatres to see it with me. And ultimately, no one did... So I waited for it to hit not DVD or even VHS, but to hit TMN (the movie network) to watch it.
It's a guilty pleasure of mine this movie is. The premise is ridiculous as are the characters. But it is nice to see a young Scarlett Johanson in the movie though. I wonder what she thinks of when she looks back at the role she played in this movie.
The movie was on a couple days ago on TV and I sat through the entire thing. In a way, it's gotten worse as time has went on. Actually, it's a pretty awful movie come to think of it. But it reminds me of when I first started loving movies, so that is why it etches its way to a good ol 6/10.
