Eight Legged Freaks is a hidden classic; wonderfully entertaining and without ever losing its sense of fun, it's the closest thing we have to a Gremlins remake--with a scene where a clever spider follows a human while hidden under a tent ala Bugs Bunny epitomizing the film's non-compromising humor.
