Review of Eight Below (2006) by Jason D — 14 Jun 2009
What a lump of crap. I gave this a chance because I tried to have an open mind about the whole thing, but don't make the same mistake I did. This "inspiring" true story only inspired me never to watch any movie with Paul Walker in it again.
The dogs were way better actors than any of the people in the film. The characters were unlikable and worthless, and I only cared about the dogs because they were cute, though admittedly there were some beautiful moments between them.
With the exceptions of the dogs and the cinematography, this film is all-around bad.
