Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Christian V — 07 May 2012
Tim Burton's best live action movie, and Danny Elfman's most beautiful and personal score. It's like a constant lullaby played by a 79 piece orchestra. The ice dance theme alone always brings a tear to my eye and a chill up my spine. I don't think any other fantasy movie has captured the essence of true love like this film.
Kim: "Then why did you do it?".
Edward: "Because YOU asked me too".
