Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Walter H — 25 Dec 2012
Scissorhands is the type of movie Tim Burton does best. There's a lot of whimsical flare and cardboard cartoonish characters to laugh at. Suburbia is a hoot, where women wear dresses with fruity patterns, and of course Edward is totally out of place there.
Decent onscreen chem between Edward and the teenage Winona Ryder, and the ending and narrative had originality.
