A modern gothic fairy tale, Tim Burton's "Edward Scissorhands" is genuine artistry. The movie is beautifully shot, it has a quirky but sweet story, Danny Elfman's music is perfect, and the performances of the cast are absolutely terrific, especially Johnny Depp.
