Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Kyle R — 19 Oct 2013
Like all Burton's films this one is also ... different. Despite its uniqueness, this film may be one of Burton's best. The movie's themes are pretty much thrown right in your face, but we seem to be OK with that because the story is told so well.
The acting is good, and this film seems to start the Depp Burton romance. The film does well to balance its Gothic dark themes with its bright triumphant story.
