Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Matt C — 18 Feb 2015
I'm not a massive Tim Burton fan to be honest, go for gothic and chuck in Helena Bonham Carter gets a little dull after 25 years. This though is such a beautiful, heartfelt fairytale it's impossible not to be carried away by it.
It manages to be completely charming and never feel kooky, Depp and Ryder are great.
