Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Dylan K — 25 May 2015
After watching it for a third time, this has easily become one of my favourite movies. I love the themes of isolation and innocence. I felt for Edward and could relate to him, even though he was so strange and confused.
I liked the ending and overall darkness of the films content. The setting was excellent, and the gossiping neighbours were great villains just because they felt so real. I love this movie, and I usually am not a fan of Burton.
This is easily his best movie, and he agrees. Definitely watch this one.
