Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Luna — 12 Jan 2009
A story seemingly simple yet heartbreaking and complete in itself. Comedy. Romance. Quirkiness. Satire. And overwhelming tragedy. Edward has scissors for hands, but the real monsters in this film are the "normal" people who taunt, use and reject him, refusing to appreciate his soul that is gentle, pure, and giving without asking anything back.
The ultimate beautifully sad fairy tale that does not let go for days. R.D. and Ugly are right.
