Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Fernando B — 31 May 2016
Burton's best film. Beautiful, haunting, funny, and insightfull. A true masterpiece. Sucks that my favorite director peaked early (something even I'll admit), but with a film this good it's understandable if he never tops it.
NOTE: I haven't yet seen "Ed Wood", so factor that into my picking this as his best film. If "Ed Wood" is better, I wouldn't know. ... Yet.
