A beautiful movie, and one of my favorites. A Gothic fairy tale, Tim Burton has created a bittersweet tale of love and isolation, truly asking what it is to be human? Sometimes the movies that ask the deepest questions aren't art films, and are instead more "mainstream" fare like this.
And by sometimes, I mean more often than you think.
