This movie, no matter what people say, is not at all like Truman Show. This is more of a comedy than Truman Show ever was. I think this film is pretty good, but it's not one I can watch more than once every year or two.
Ellen DeGeneres is great in one of her only good roles. A very realistic and poignant movie for the time it came out, though it's a bit dated now.
