Review of Edmond (2006) by Jake C — 03 Jun 2007
Meh. I saw this week ago and I'm already forgetting what it is about. Mostly, it's Macy going to a bunch of strip clubs and whining. Then he gets really racist for some reason. Oh, and Fat Tony's in it.
The interesting part of this movie starts just when the movie is ending. It sort of works as an examination of the alienation found in modern society in rich selfish white people. As if I didn't know what rich selfish white people were like already.
Everything about this movie is just way too unbelievable. The fact of the matter is that Stuart Gordon and David Mamet have made better movies than this.
