Review of Edmond (2006) by Luca Z — 05 Aug 2007
I was curious about this indie production by director Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator).
Macy doesn't look like a killer, but is brilliant. His character, who fails while trying to change his life and reaching freedom, is clumsy but intense. The city at night is as dark and violent as Edmond's soul. I particularly appreciated the ending, when Edmond finds his peace of mind in a very unusual way.
