Review of Edgeplay: A Film About The Runaways (2004) by Steven C — 10 Mar 2010
Here is a very personal documentary about the classic all-girl 70s rock band, The Runaways. It was made by them for the fans. It takes you through the bands history, from creation to demise. It's all told from their point of views so it can be a bit bias but it does a good job of exposing the exploitation and greed that ran rampant and unpunished during that time period of music.
If you are a fan of the band, this is an absolute must see. It's emotional and personal and best of all, unrestrained, just like The Runaways themselves.
