Wow. Didn't expect to enjoy this Tom Cruise flick. Take Groundhog Day and mash it up with some nasty aliens who have invaded Earth and you have Edge of Tomorrow. Action sequences are tense and satisfying.
Plot is easy to follow and interesting. Special effects are great. Cruise's character is engaging as the young Army captain who has to figure out a way to beat the aliens. The sound is incredible! You may rattle everything off your walls if you play the opening sequence loud enough - talk about that bass!
