I cannot stop watching this movie. Very rare for me. I'm usually well sick of even those movies that I can stand to watch twice by this amount of immersion.

It's Avatar-like for me. Just a few I can bear to rewatch regularly, a few Clint Eastwoods, Groundhog Day, some others.

I want to watch this again as soon as I finish watching it.

A few parts of it drag for me. And I wish there were more content in some areas.

For instance, the newclips of the intro are gripping, but the intro of Cage drags on rerun, up until he gets bug zapped.

I love Cage's charge around the fox hole and the reaction of Griff wondering just who in the hell is that guy who just saved our asses and is out killing mimics with the Angel of Verdunne, who oviously views him as her mimic-killing peer.

My absolute favorite part is just after Cage decides to leave Rita behind and tells his boy Griff to get him geared up right and to do it right now.

I could have used a little more of that sort of legend-in-the-making scene, like missing scenes after Cage bypasses Rita to array J squad from the fox hole to and into the trailer park, tasking each soldier for some info along the way that no one else in the squad could know - "hey, tell me something about you since I just saved your ass.".

He also could have set up their allegiance to blast a path to the trailor park by making it known he'd need some help on the ground. "When I come by and save your ass, I want you runnning after me and listening to what I tell you. Cause a lot of you MFs are going to die otherwise.".

He could have brough some guys in the caravan. "A mimic's gonna hit this thing. You be ready to blast it." One of them could have driven. He could have made them all bring extra batteries. And there could have been two or three watching him fly oft in the helicopter.

The dam drags on reun, even as short as it is.

And as long as he gets the power back, why lose it at all? Tighten up that weak-ass plot by having him plug the Omega sensor in the General's office, with an advance team of J Squad and more General-sanctioned teams behind in a last gasp power bombing.

The final pay-oft of Omega-blood time shift could have happened to seal the deal, overriding his reboot of the day.

Nothing with Emily Blunt drags. John K is a lucky man. Is that yoga for real?
