Tom Cruise follows Jack Reacher (another awesome movie) with this. Batting 1000.
It's a futuristic "Groundhog Day" where the fate of mankind relies on a specific few who can relive the same day over and over (thanks to a certain type of Alien death).
I ended up buying after renting. A great addition to my post-apocalyptic collection.
