Review of Edge of Tomorrow (2014) by Line M — 06 Jun 2016

I fucking LOVE this film! It's one of my favourites of all time. Absolutely amazing! I love the plot, the characters, the building of relationship between Cage(Cruise) and Vrataski(Blunt). I love Blunt as the Full Metal Bitch as I have previously only seen her as a barbie-kindof bitch in 'The Devil Wears Prada'. She is BAD.ASS!

The Mimics are very well made and has a very alien feel to them, so they did that really well in my opinion.

The mindfucking part of the film is great - you have to pay attention to keep up, but not so much that it is too hard to follow. Some would maybe say that the starting over again and again would get repetitive, but I think it makes you engaged in the film and it makes you feel the hopelessness and desperateness that Cage feels.

Anyone who likes scifi, a good slow relational building, a strong female lead or aliens I would recommend to watch this film. You will not regret it.

Sidenote: i've watched this at least 4 times and watching it again soon!
