Tom Cruise gives a typically good performance in Doug Liman's sci-fi fantasy. Its got some good action and an intriguing, if unoriginal, story. However, Edge of Tomorrow can't help but venture into generic summer blockbuster territory at times, and the ending was quite disappointing.
