Review of Edge of Tomorrow (2014) by Simon D — 10 Sep 2016

I love this film. An easy multi-rewatcher. The performances from Cruise & Blunt through to the supports are top notch, the story is clever and engaging despite the repetition of events. The aliens are unique and scary as hell.

Cruise is very convincing in his journey from layman to expert soldier. A minor quibble is near the end when they become a bit indestructible as their bodies are getting thrashed around, but such are the rubber-bodied action heroes of the modern era.

Great action flick.
