When I first heard Tom Cruise was starring in a groundhog day scenario involving aliens, I laughed. Cruise and Blunt make an excellent team as the "Entitled Whimp" and the "Full Metal B****" spend day after day trying to save humanity.
Bill Paxton quietly steals the show as the stereotypical military sergeant with the best lines in the movie. The supporting cast of the "J" squad was amazing and well cast only adding to the epic scale of this film.
