Review of Edge of Darkness (2010) by Marilyn A. Hernández A — 14 Sep 2012
A disappointing affair. Potentially, a half-interesting story - but in Martin Campbell's tired, old hands - this is very pedestrian stuff. I've seen TV drama more captivating than this. Emotionally unengaging when it should be completely engrossing.
Time to retire Martin. Your strikes (Green Lantern, Legend of Zorro, GoldenEye, Vertical Limit, Edge of Darkness) are starting to outway your hits (Casino Royale, Escape From Absolom, The Mask of Zorro) - and you're getting sloppier as you get older.
I won't be trusting you again with 2 hours of my life. Farewell.
