Review of Edge of Darkness (2010) by Aaron B — 18 Sep 2010

Here is the perfect example of a movie not being up to par, of the talent behind it. Mel Gibson does a goos job with the material he has, but what he has has a banquet TV dinner, and he is trying to make it into a gourmet meal. Unfortunately the script is dead on arrival, and director Martin Campbell prefers a death march pace to make things suspensfull.

Gibson raises this movie to a level it does not deserve. He may be bat shit crazy, but he knows his craft. Now I hope he gets of his ass and directs again.
