Strong and promising start. Then the movie gets confused between a thriller, a cop flick or the usual Gibson action/comedy film. The main character is clearly at his best when he's out for revenge, but need lots of help for the emotional scenes.
..which he gets from very good supporting actors. The script is nothing new but very well written.
