Review of Edge of Darkness (2010) by Maksim B — 07 Oct 2010
Dark and bloody, Edge of Darkness is an interesting revenge story, which does not contain anything special or original, but remains watchable during most of its time.
The story has a huge potential and Mel Gibson loads it with emotions. Unfortunately the conspiracy story is underdeveloped and too shallow, while his rage gets lost somewhere towards the final credits.Still enjoying Mel Gibson at his rawest is guaranteed.
This is one of those movies which are perfectly watchable but disappoint to some extend in terms of thrill and emotions. Not because of what they are, but because of what they could have become.
