Mel gibson shows his lack of range - he just cant pull off any kind of believable response to trauma, loss, desperation etc. He can do angry and mental, and even those he does in a mediocre fashion. Also, this is nowhere near as good as the original tv show with bob peck - I mean, c'mon, Bob Peck - jeepers, that man can act.
Mel versus Bob is a hands down victory for Bob. They've updated the story but it's still anachronistic and doesn't really work. Mediocre stuff at best.
