It does give some perspectives on this culture. I can't really say it is the best judge as I feel people who watch this will view these individuals viewpoints as the be all of Straight Edge. Being Edge myself I can say that it is a very personal and individual thing and means a lot of different things for each individual.
The layout of the movie between interviews is very poorly executed.
