Review of Eden Log (2007) by Brent M — 24 Jun 2009
I keep hoping that I'd find a nice sleeper. Unfortunately this was not so. Had potential, darkness, slight edgy feeling, but unfortunately never really developed any suspense. Sure there were the creatures and the mystery of why he was in the scary tunnel system, but it was mostly him grunting around the place.
It kinda has a post apocalyptic Twelve Monkeys feel, with a dash of Ember and Resident evil. Basically the usual science experiment goes wrong or lost in translation.
