Review of Eden Lake (2008) by Gerard D — 30 Oct 2009
About a hundred times better than I was expecting, especially given the villains are teenagers. This will have you squirming in your seat the entire time, as we bear witness to the horrors our heroes must endure.
Drenched in shades of grey and moral ambiguities throughout, this tale of survival at all costs is ultimately very depressing, but thought-provoking and also very powerful.
