Review of Eden Lake (2008) by Keri H — 30 Jul 2011

This movie can be classified as disturbing; A young couple take a short vacation to Eden lake and they are terrorized by a group of teenagers. The group dynamics are evident and the viewer can see the peer pressure among the group members.

Its a sad realization that many unwanted acts in today's day and age are also committed because of this type of peer pressure/group dynamics/fear. I was wondering during the film where the parent's were and why their children were acting out how they were, and it was answered clearly in the end of the film.

The ending was nuts and makes one think...
