I have just finished watching this film called ''Eden Lake''. It is just...very crazy! Now I'm wondering if it DID happen in England? Or, maybe it has happened to some extent. From the very beginning, I knew this lovely couple's 'adventure' would lead to somewhere life-threatening.

First, he was taking her somewhere out of town. Hence, it could be hard for them to see ppl or even go get help later when they encountered such brutal and crazy physical/mental pain. Second, it might not be a good idea to provoke a gang of young kids who used the f-word in almost everything they breathed out AND most of all it might not even be a good idea to provoke the leader of theirs.

Just when I thought the couple were on their way back home, they went back to Eden Lake. That was how/when ALL this physical torture and verbal violence (and killing 'fun') started. Also, I was hoping that Jenny could get out of that place to get help and to save Steve, but he was burned not long after he had been dead (oh my god - they also burned that little boy Adam alive - crazy!) However, she didn't get to take him with her.

AND, just when I thought she could finally get out of this crazy nightmare when she went into a house. Oh no, I saw that fat waitress Steve spoke to when they went to have breaky and Steve talked about those kids who messed up with them.

She gave him the look and emphasized that they weren't her kids and it was none of her business. I knew it's got something to do with all the things afterwards. And, when Jenny walked into that house to get help I knew she couldn't really get away because she put herself in another danger.

She walked into Brett's home, where his old man there 'showing' him how parenting should be like. That was just CRAZY!!! Overall, this film isn't just about crazy gangsters killing ppl and this couple running for their life, but it also brings about several issues, such as parenting, education and how people would react when their life were in danger.

But honestly, I shouted 'Ouch' quite a lot throughout the film because it looked hurt!! Ouch!
