Review of Eddie the Eagle (2016) by Joe C — 15 Mar 2016
An absolute treat of a film which made me cry. The true story of a plasterer who wanted to and did compete in the winter Olympics in the 80's. Edwards is a buffoon but Egerton plays him like a hero and Jackman makes a great coach/sidekick.
Fletcher is a good director and some of the jumping set pieces make you tingle. An excellent film.
