Review of Eddie the Eagle (2016) by Emad S — 02 Apr 2016
Great feel-good movie, I was a bit hesitant and not sure if I want to watch it, but man I'm so glad that I did, it is now in my top films for this year and one of the most fun movies I've seen in a while, I left the cinema feeling really good. I loved the 80s style of it, the story, music, and editing were so good.
The performance was excellent by Taron Egerton (Eddie) he is so adorable and charismatic, I have no doubt that he will be a super star in a couple of years , and Hugh Jackman was amazing as always.
I've never heard of the real Eddie the Eagle before watching the film, what a great example he is of the underdog, so inspiring and motivating. The moral of the story is simple: You should always stick to your goal and never let anyone prevent you from achieving your dreams no matter what.
Definitely one of my favorite movies for this year and I seriously recommend it.
