Review of Eddie the Eagle (2016) by Andrew O — 22 Sep 2016
Spirited, uplifting and funny film telling the true story of Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards and his dream to become an Olympic Ski Jumper for Great Britain in the 1988 Winter Olympic games.
A great central performance by Taron Eggerton immediatly make Eddie a character to route for. Good support to from Hugh Jackman as a washed up ex olympian who gets a second chance.
Ok so its not very original (its almost a British remake of Cool Runnings) but like all good sports films you will be fist pumping by the end credits. Good entertainment.
